Anchor Health Properties, acting as developer for Good Shepherd Rehab Hospital, selected Cope Linder Architects to provide a supportive, friendly, non-clinical outpatient care facility utilizing our unique ability to merge hospitality and retail design.
Cope Linder Architects developed a campus master plan, including converting a street into a wellness garden, lower and upper level guest arrivals, and pedestrian bridge to a 6-level parking structure. The program and design of the 64,000 sf pavilion organizes the outpatient treatment suites around a multi-level atrium overlooking the garden, café, and retail store, creating a unified campus setting with the existing hospital. Cope Linder Architects worked closely with the project team in making design adjustments to address project budget parameters, including reducing overall building size and preparing alternate exterior envelope options. Design assistance was also provided for the design/build parking structure.
